Actors Park Hyung-sik, Ma Dong-seok, Seo In-guk unite for upcoming K-drama Twelve

K-drama fans are eagerly anticipating the collaboration between beloved stars Park Hyung Sik and Ma Dong Seok in the forthcoming South Korean superhero series Twelve. This much-anticipated fantasy drama, which revolves around the 12 zodiac angels of the East, offers a glimpse into its thematic elements through its title.

On October 31, K-media outlet Newsen revealed the ensemble cast, which includes some of the most popular faces in K-drama. Ma Dong-seok has been confirmed to lead the series as Tae San, the commander of the titular angels, embodying the tiger aura. Park Hyung-sik will portray Ogui, who harnesses the crow aura and represents an evil force that has escaped confinement. His character now navigates the human realm, concealing his true identity while grappling with the haunting memories of sacrifices made by four angels (ox, rabbit, sheep, and rooster) in historic conflicts.

In addition to the confirmed lead actors, Seo In-guk has been announced as a significant presence in the series. Known for his roles in dramas like Doom at Your Service and Death’s Game, Seo In-guk will portray Won Seung, embodying the monkey aura. As a cunning trickster, his character seeks to take over the leadership role after Tae San.

The drama has also roped in some very famous actors such as Sung Dong-il, Go Kyu-pil, Kang Mi-na, Lee Joo-bin, Ahn Ji-hye, Sung Yoo-bin, along with various others.

The release date for Twelve has yet to be confirmed, but it is anticipated to premiere in 2025.
